Crime Victims Advocacy Council
Rev. Bruce Cook founded CVAC in 1989 and it operates out of VUMC. The core of CVAC’s ministry is weekly support groups for loved ones of homicide victims, a 24-hour victims’ hotline, individual pastoral care for affected families and advocating with lawmakers for victims’ rights. The support group meets on Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., and anyone who has experienced crime personally or through a loved one is invited
AA has several groups meeting regularly throughout the week:
Sundays: 6:00 p.m.
Mondays: 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. and/or 7:00 p.m.
Fridays 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:30 a.m.
Cocaine Anonymous meets 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays in Hodge Hall
